A Step Forward for Sony
By Joshua Legg
I purchased this computer for my mother, who is 64. She has been working on it for several weeks now, and loves it.
In 2011, we bought the precursor to this model—the one that came with the kick stand. Frankly, I wasn't terribly impressed with that earlier model. Interaction with the touch screen was problematic because of the kick stand's instability. I still expect that computer will fall over one day. But, the redesign in consecutive years has created a product that is much more physically stable. My mother is now much more likely to use the touch screen interface than she is with the 2011 model. (Microsoft's Windows 8 redesign also encourages that usage as well.)
The other thing that Sony gets right on this model is the TV/PC integration. Back in the 1990s, I had one of the first PCs that had TV functionality (an HP). It was a technological novelty back then. Clunky at best. As tech has advanced, the integration of TV and PC has become much more seamless, and no PC manufacturer does that better than Sony. The only design complaint I have is that the Sony remote control is large. Come on Sony, the technology is out there. You can create a one-handed remote control the size of a cell phone.
My only caution is that this is PC and comes with the historical issues around graphics/video editing you'd expect to find on this platform. Despite the hype, Windows 8 did not improve that functionality. Likewise, if you're a serious gamer, you may need a different product.
In general though, if you're looking for an All-in-One, and you like the touch screen interface you experience on your phone or tablet, this is the best touch screen desktop computer I've seen yet. It will function well in both home and office environments, and it's a big step forward for Sony in just two years since we bought the 2011 All-in-One.

I love this!
By F. Martin
I couldn't be happier with this computer. It is very quiet, which is extremely important for me. It has the speed and versatility I need in a PC. I am an IT professional, and I make good use of my computers. The touch screen is very responsive and is the perfect way to use Windows 8. I love having 2 TB of disk space. I take a lot of video and pictures, and I need an extra large hard disk. I have yet to find anything about this PC that I don't like.

Sony Loyalty
By Jeanne Hovland
I have been a Sony fan for years and although I was reluctant to try an "all in one" I have not been disappointed. Be prepared to spend a couple of hundred dollars more for this space saving computer.
