4Gateway ZX4971-UB10P works well

This all-in-one performs as I expected and I am quite happy with it. My only dissatisfaction is the horrible online documentation from Gateway. I had to search the Internet for hours to learn that a separate USB infrared receiver was required to provide connectivity for the mouse and keyboard -- and that this item was hidden within the mouse itself!

1DELL Inspiron PC

It is a very nice computer. Screen is big - maybe too big for my needs. Also still trying to get used to Windows 8, but that is not an issue with the PC itself. Overall a nice package. The keyboard and mouse are a big cheap looking.

UPDATE: NOVEMBER 24th. After just 5 weeks of purchasing this PC, the screen went dead on me. Dell sent out tech support as it is under warrenty, but be warned that they put in REFURBISHED parts into any computers they fix. As I had spent $1200 on a NEW pc, I do not want refurnished parts for that price, so returning it to Amazon.

Very annoyed that this happened so soon. So I dropped the number of stars to ONE. I'm really disappointed in DELL. I have had a DELL laptop for 4 years (and apart from virtual memory issues now later in its life), have not had any issues. Wonder if this is an issue with ALL-IN-ONEs in general.
Now I'm not sure what I'm going to get.

It keeps freezing up and saying 'low memory' and 'close all windows/operations and try again'. Yet nothing is open except Yahoo IM and the site I'm working on. I never had this problem with my old computer that I had for 10 years unless I really DID have too many windows. Good thing I have this laptop or I'd be going crazy.

1nice system and then you try to update

This system gets delivered with windows 8, also known as the new Vista. In case you try updating to the slightly better version windows 8.1 the system fails to update. There is an error code 0xc1900101-0x30018 which is discussed all over the web but no solution is apparent. The search on the Samsung Support website does not even show the error code.
Samsung tech support enlightened me that they are only supporting this unit on windows 8 and not windows 8.1. Pretty poor statement as we just took this unit out of the box.
A system which cannot be updated is basically useless within the shortest of time.
Stay away from this one.

5This Samsung all-in-one is great!

I really enjoy this all in one pc. Samsung has done this one right. The quality is there and it has better/more features than it's competition at the same price level, and beats the more expensive Sony hands down. It has a dependable, fast processor, wonderful full 21.5" HD touch screen, cd/dvd burner/player, great sounding premium audio speakers built in, all in a very attractive, space saving package. It's interface using windows 8 has been flawless, and without the constant windows updates/downloads I experienced with a new Sony viao laptop. This is what value is all about.

4Great design at an affordable cost

This AIO by Vizio is a very nice system. The system design is very impressive, especially if you compare the system's hardware and the price against other manufacturer's. I am not going to review the system specs because they are all here on the website - what I do want you to consider is other systems with similar specs from other OEMs like Lenovo that don't offer you Windows 8, wireless/BT keyboard and mouse, etc.

The picture IS a tiny bit misleading because it doesn't show you any of the cables so when you hook everything up you do have a cable behind it but I was VERY impressed when discovering that the power brick is hiding inside the speaker! That was really neat.

5Vizio results

I have been looking for all in one computer that not only metmy functional requirements but also looked good. My Vizio CA 24 does just that. I am having difficulty adjusting to window 8 primarily as a result of the lack of detailed instruction but that is not a Vizio issue.

5Great Screen

Not a fan of Windows 8 but I love this otherwise - the screen is terrific ( it is not a touch screen, BTW) and the sound is terrific. I like the keyboard but don't use the touch pad as I thought I would.
This is a lot of computer for the price.
