Great machine - pricier but bigger than the Dell XPS 18

You won't go wrong w/this machine. I had recently purchased the Dell XPS 18 for my kids which the whole family loves. It is portable, easy to use and perfect for everyday tasks. Windows 8.1 is a totally different experience w/touch. I ruled out the Apple products for this reason. Having been fully satisfied w/the All in One design, I would have bought another Dell XPS18. The problem is the screen size and limited options that Dell provides. Thus, for the 2nd upgrade I chose the Sony 21.5 inch is perfect for me. If they were to add a stand (and magnetic recharging) and electric connection built in-like the XPS18, then they'd have the competitive edge over Dell. As things stand now, they are both good choices - if you are older you will appreciate the larger screen offered w/Sony - but the 23" Dell model was too big for my desk and for me.
Pros:state of the art, portable, fabulous display, best of 3 worlds: pc laptop tablet, free 8.1 update, painless wireless connect of keyboard/mouse. Sony offers better upgrade choices than does Dell.
Cons:no disk drive - but will get external one., a bit pricey - more than the Dell XPS 23" ALL IN ONE, there is no stand like the Dell XPS 18, apps is still growing. The Sony keyboard is great and the extra features like volume/sleep come in handy. The mouse that comes w/this Sony - really sucks! The 'click' is way too loud - but small pain given all that you get w/this product.
The key features of the desktop are just amazing and the screen resolution are just commendable . This all in one touch screen desktop exhibits all the advanced and best features.
