Nice sleek computer
By Dommie P
I'm writing my review as someone who has never used Windows 8 and uses this at work. I've had this computer for about a month and so far, I like it! It was the beginning of a new fiscal year and I was due for a new computer. Privvy to the specs of the computers that the job planned on purchasing, I sought out to find my own.
I gave this computer 4 stars based on the computer alone. Windows 8 can go take a long walk off a short pier as of now though. But we're not here for windows 8, right.
*What matters*
Pros:
Very clear and responsive screen.
I haven't experienced any lagging with programs.
Also, the connection to Wifi is pretty strong (although I use a cable because our wifi at work leaves a lot to be desired.)
The hidden plugs on the front of the monitor (headphone jack, USB 3.0, sd card slot). The cover is a nice touch.
Adjustable camera
Cons:
I wish the stand angled downwards a bit more, as I am short and the monitor sits up higher
The webcam isn't that great, but that's minor.
Keyboard buttons are a bit too sleek for my liking.
Sometimes runs on the loud side
Questionable:
I haven't researched how to open the back to add memory.
Overall, it's a nice computer. I'm kind of upset because the price dropped $100 a day after I opened the box but that's neither here nor there. I'm not sure how well it will perform with labor intensive tasks, such as running a few programs in Adobe Creative Suite while listening to Spotify and watching a Youtube video on what you're doing... But I can give an update within a month on that.

WOW
By Sean
Upgraded from an old AMD Fusion laptop that was constantly freezing. I decided I wanted to go with an Intel processor this time. I have not been disappointed! This thing absolutely flies compared to my clunker laptop. It will be used as the family computer.
I have spent half the day getting all the programs on it that I had on my laptop. This is noticeably faster installing programs. I installed the Windows 8.1 Preview and it took less than half the time my laptop did.
I know this is a last generation processor, but it is perfect for our family PC.
