5Great Value!

This is a good computer for the price. I've been looking around for an All In One desktop that featured at least a Core i3 processor. The majority I saw around this price range only came with Pentiums and other entry level procs. This is however the 3rd gen Core i3. This machine will primarily be used for office productivity and web browsing.

The build quality of the unit is nice, with a solid sturdy feel to it. I really did not care for a touchscreen on this desktop as it would be used primarily for work. That feature is not necessary for me but you can't seem to get away from it. That said, it is fairly responsive and accurate.

The unit comes with a wireless keyboard and mouse (something I think should be a standard feature on All in Ones). The only wired connection to this is the power brick.

Ports and inputs are fairly standard on this one. I like that there's a dedicated button to turn off the monitor without having to put the whole system in sleep mode.

I thought Windows 8 would have been a problem. While I do enjoy the Modern UI on my Surface tabs, I prefer the normal desktop and start menu (basically I prefer Windows 7 on my desktops). With Windows 8.1, it's possible to boot directly to the desktop, and with the addition of Start8, I have been able to get this computer to look and feel like my Windows 7 machine. Like I said, the touchscreen is not something I plan to use, so it's just keyboard and mouse for me. Screen resolution on this one is at 1600x900. Not full HD, but text and images look sharp.

Good machine, good price and decent specs.... for productivity. I doubt I will use this for any media purposes, but I'm sure the i3 can handle most of those with ease
